y la única conclusión lógica es que esto terminará mal, (¿Alguien ha dicho Zeitgeist? ¿”World New Order”?) muy mal.

Siguiendo el ejemplo de el Blog Salmón, os pongo un par de secuencias de películas que pueden ilustrar a grosso modo como hemos llegado a esto (hasta como solucionarlo )

-Creo que el plan, consiste en volar las oficinas centrales de unas compañías de tarjetas de crédito y el edificio de servicios de información.

que no te absolutament res a veure amb el meu àmbit professional…
que a sobre l’han tret del nou plan de Bolonya, i a partir d’ara no cal cursar.

d’una carrera que no podré homologar,

d’un títol que te menys valor oficial que el de batxillerat…
que no em permet treure’m cap màster,
postgrau,
oposicions…

Com anava lo de la felicitat i la ignorància?

Beautiful Invisible - Live (Radiant Sea)

Para los que no lo sepais, me gusta muchísimo el grupo Live. Esta mañana me pongo los auriculares, abro mi iTunes y… sorpresa! La nueva barra de Genius me informa de que hay un nuevo disco…

Me extraña mucho un par de cosas:

1. No haberme enterado de la producción y salido del álbum, ya que intento seguir de cerca las noticias del grupo.
2. ¿Que demonios es esa portada? No suena mucho a Live, pero…

Decido visitar la sección del grupo en el iTunes Store para verificarlo.

Efectivamente, ahí está, el último de todos. Publicado hace nada… Entro y me sorprende la lista de canciones…

Espera… esto suena a… Roy Orbinson! Y un segundo! ¿No tuvo Orbinson un grupo llamado “The Teen Kings”? Pues si… parece que en Apple alguien ha cambiado el nombre del Artista por el Título del Álbum.

Decido poner una reseña para evitar quebraderos de cabeza a posibles incautos. Entro, escribo y cuando quiero publicarla me encuentro un botón que reza… Fragmento.

Lo pulso, ya que por la ubicación, debería ser el de Continuar, publicar, revisar o cualquier otra cosa que indique seguir con el proceso. Y efectivamente, fijaos en el hilo de ariadna de la siguiente imagen…

“Confirmar reseña”, y los botones: Modificar y Confirmar. Ahora si nos entendemos. Podrían haberle puesto “confirmar reseña” al botón anterior, en vez de “fragmento”.

A mi me parecen demasiados fallos para una sola mañana.

Por cierto, ya que estamos, os recomiendo a todos que le deis una oportunidad a “Live”.

It’s been a while since i wrote about my job, but here we go again…

This week i’ve been testing a website for young people (target under 25 years old) and i would like to share an opinion about users. When I meet them, i like to shake hands, no matter if the user is a man or a woman.

In a qualitative test one of the most important things is the “thinking aloud” protocol. It’s essential that the user talks a lot, they must explain everything, so we can get as much information as we can. As you can imagine, there are “good” users that do not have any problems and they comment on everything, but there are also these “bad” users that remain silent during all the test and you have to remind every now and then that they must think aloud (yes, we asume they think). Obviously this forces the situation and it can be very violent for the user.

Believe it or not, when a user shakes my hand, even without saying a word, I can tell what kind of user he or she will be. If it’s a strong handsake, the user will probably be selfconfident, he/she will feel confotable and test the will run smoothly. On the other hand, if it’s a weak shakehand (you know, the “dead fish”), well, probably I’ll be facing a difficult user…

Oh, and for the record, keep in mind that a women is supposed to offer her hand first. Remember this and be polite! Specially with users!
